Golden Age Pass - Maryland State Parks
To be eligible for a Golden Age Pass, you must be 62 years of age or older.*
Please Note: Applicants who purchase this pass online will be required to upload or mail a valid document for age verification (U.S. Passport, Birth Certificate, Driver’s License or State Issued I.D.)
If you are unable to upload a document to verify your age, please mail a copy of your document, along with your online Golden Age Pass purchase confirmation, to:

A Golden Age Pass offers cardholders:
- Free entry into any Maryland State Park. (Some areas utilize coin-operated gates during the off season that cannot be opened with this card.)
- Half price camping, Sunday through Thursday - excluding holidays. (Not valid for rentals or other facility use service charges that may apply.)
- Unlimited boat launch access at any Maryland State Park.
*Age can be verified by U.S. Passport, Driver's License or State Issued I.D. Card. You may upload a copy of one of the aforementioned documents using the "Choose File" option below.
Out of State residents are welcome to purchase this pass.
Online purchase of a Maryland State Park Golden Age Pass does not entitle the buyer to its privileges until they are in receipt of the actual pass.
We apologize for any inconvenience, but Golden Age Pass numbers cannot be provided over the telephone or via email.
Passholders can use their day use, boat launch and camping discount after they receive their Golden Age Pass in the mail.
The orignal Golden Age Pass must be presented by the passholder on the day of their visit or camping arrival date.
The Golden Age Pass is non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
