This certification requires:
1) Attendance at the virtual spring sampling training (and field demonstration for those who are currently not certified).
2) Passing a benthic sampling protocol written test.
3) Completing a benthic sampling field audit with oversight from a MBSS Quality Control officer.
Payment must be received by DNR within 48 hours of the field audit.
Benthic sample processing will not commence until payment is received.
