Gift of Trees

Celebrate life's special moments – anniversaries, birthdays, holidays, retirements or weddings – or honor the memory of family and friends by supporting native tree planting.

Your Gift of Trees order is actually three gifts – one for someone you care for, one for future generations and one for the environment.

Trees planted through this program will attract wildlife, add beauty to communities, enhance air and water quality, reduce soil erosion and ultimately improve quality of life.

Please note:

A certificate will be issued and mailed out within a week of your order. Tree planting projects supported by this program take place during the next appropriate growing season – either spring or fall – to promote growth and survival.

Plantings generally occur on public lands and community spaces in areas of greatest need. While we focus on planting within Maryland, specific planting sites are based on project priorities and may not be identifiable for each individual gift.

Tree species are selected based on what will flourish at each planting site. We focus our efforts on areas that will benefit the most, including cities and towns, parks, playgrounds and schoolyards, and along creeks and streams.

Fill in a separate order form for each Gift of Trees recipient. Each $40 contribution supports the planting and care of native trees; you may make multiple contributions or recognize multiple recipients.

To make sure we have enough time to process and mail your certificate in time for the upcoming holidays, please place your order at least one week before the date you would like the certificate to arrive.
